Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions for patients on stable, regular medication can be requested online or by phone. Please allow 48 hours (two working days) for your request to be reviewed by your doctor.
How it works
- Send your request using the form, or phone the practice on 074 9532445.
- Allow 48 hours — requests are reviewed by your own doctor where possible.
- We can send the prescription electronically to your nominated pharmacy, or you can collect it from reception.
- A review appointment is needed at least once a year, and sooner for some medicines, before a repeat can be issued.
- Controlled medicines, sedatives and strong painkillers cannot be renewed online and require an appointment.
Please note
Do not wait until you have run out of medication. Requests received on a Friday or before a bank holiday may take longer. For urgent medication needs, please phone the practice directly on 074 9532445.
